So its kinda fugly (and cute?), but I hand stitched his whole freaking face on. I think it gave me mild carpel tunnel.

I was checking out the amigurumi section and stopped by on yours specifically.
Stitching wise it looks good. I think. The pic is too blurry to be sure.
The problem here is photography. The background is bad and your lighting is bad. Flash is really bad for fiber art. It drowns out the stitches and makes the whole piece look blah.
Take for example *MoonYen. Her stuff isn't technically difficult but her photography and branding make her bunnies stick out. Your domokun looks good to a fellow crocheter because I understand what went into making him. Some good photography would make him pop to more people than like me, you get?
